These are two of my most recent “unique finds”. The first is an antique carved Bible box with a Jane Seymour’s portrait centered atop the lid. The original painting dates back to the 1500′s….. I’m still working on finding out the actual age of the box and when the portrait was reproduced. I have had two experts tell me that the box is an antique and not a reproduction. So beautiful!
The second ‘unique find” is this firescreen from the 30′s. It’s perfect example of the Art Deco era. The screen is made of solid brass and each piece of glass was individually leaded in place. The smooth lines of this piece make it perfect for any design style.
