Reinvented!

Check out how we like to think ‘outside the box’! :)

Screen my Dreams!

I dream it and then I get to build it!

I love to collect old architectural pieces …… I dream about them…..seriously!  Every time I pick up or find a new object, I lie awake thinking of what possibilities they possess.

I obsess about building and creating and re-inventing…… I get inspired….. I sketch… and then…… TA DA!  I get this great idea…… I go to my studio and…. I see all the orders that need to be filled….. the custom work that needs to be done…. blah, blah, blah!  Then I get frustrated…… and obsess even more… because I’m too busy to get the new idea out of my head and into my hands!

Mind you…. I do not mean to sound like I’m complaining….. I’m not!  I appreciate and live for the business that people bring me.  BUT, sometimes I gotta set it all aside a just DO IT!  So this week I did and here it is!

An antique, Victorian screen door and hooks from an old Ghent house…. some old boards from a barn in Pungo….. 2 old bed posts turned up-side-down…. along with some other parts I just had laying around….. topped off with a hand cut (by me) piece of wood! Oh, it’s a chalkboard too…. a hall tree….. a cute desk….. an entry piece….. whatever!

So here’s an example of one of the many things I dream about and you can buy it today at CHARTREUSE!

Who Would’ve Thought?

Beautiful Antique Grates Used as Stools / Shelves

Igor, Chartreuse’s newest artist, has taken creativity to a new level using these iron grates as functional art!  This is just a sample of what you’ll be seeing from this talented man in the shoppe.

Don’t forget we’re having a HUGE NEPTUNE FESTIVAL SALE today and tomorrow from 10 to 6!  See ya there!  Cindy

Why Not?

The mall doesn't offer an option like this!

This is a beautiful quote, hand painted on an antique crate.  I made this one for a client who goes out of her way to give personal gifts with a message; a message that clearly states …… “I thought about you…..I didn’t just go out and grab a gift!”

Seriously Creative

Is this not the cutest? By Rusty Cricket!

I live for this kind of creativity!  Jan, aka Rusty Cricket, just breezes in Chartreuse and blesses me with these amazing, fun, quirky pieces that make everyone smile!

Get Personal!

Make it personal.....

If you’re the kind of person who likes the gifts you give to be personal…..here’s a great idea for the holidays, a birthday, or just because you want to show someone you didn’t run out to the mall and grab something!

These signs are hand painted and made to fit the personality of the recipient. They’re original and one of a kind pieces of art made from reclaimed wood and antique frames.

Orders are running at about a 3 week turnaround right now. Please email if you’d like to order today!  And thank you, Cindy

Simple. Elegant. Unexpected.

Antique bottle sanitizer as centerpiece

Industrial Chic!  This old bottle sanitizer and a variety of antique bottles makes a lovely centerpiece.  You could also collect as many bottles as there are openings….and use as an organizer…..for your desk, kitchen or art supplies!

What is “THE VAULT”?

Well, intrigue in whats behind the closed doors of my studio has been the buzz at CHARTREUSE……. So I decided to let everyone see what I’m working on…….. even pieces that haven’t be touched yet.  I have had an amazing first week but I have to tell you….. I sold a good bit from THE VAULT!

Starting today I am adding a page that will be titled “THE VAULT” and you can regularly check it out and see what’s going on in the studio.  You can post ideas and questions.  You can even purchase before it makes it to the floor!  I hope you enjoy, Cindy!
